Plataforma de Coordinación Subregional del Caribe
La Plataforma Subregional reúne a agencias de las Naciones Unidas y a diversas ONG nacionales, internacionales y organizaciones de la sociedad civil, y a otros organismos de cooperación internacional.
Objetivos
Promover la coordinación de las actividades que forman parte del RMRP con el objetivo de garantizar la asistencia, integración y protección de las personas refugiadas y migrantes, y entregar conjuntamente una respuesta efectiva y eficiente a sus necesidades materiales, en complementariedad y reforzando la respuesta del gobierno de cada país.
Estructura
La Plataforma Subregional del Caribe cubre Aruba, Curazao, República Dominicana, Guyana y Trinidad y Tobago. El equipo subregional trabaja estrechamente con las coordinaciones nacionales en cada país, donde los mecanismos principales de coordinación son Grupos de Trabajo para Refugiados y Migrantes.
